ProductionEdit

AnimationEdit

Animation work on The Animaniacs! is being farmed out to several different studios over the course of the show’s production, such as Tokyo Movie Shinsha (now TMS Entertainment), Rough Draft Korea, Yearim Productions, Digital EMation, Yowza! Animation and Toon City Animation. The Animaniacs! episodes frequently had animation from different companies in each episode's respective segments.

The Animaniacs! is made with a higher production value than standard television animation; the show had a higher cel count than most TV cartoons. The Animaniacs! characters often move fluidly, and do not regularly stand still and speak, as in other television cartoons.

MusicEdit

The Animaniacs! is a very musical cartoon, with every episode featuring at least one original score. The idea for an original musical score in every episode came from Steven Spielberg. The Animaniacs! used a 50-piece orchestra, and is scored by a team of composers. The use of the large orchestra in modern Warner Bros. animation began with The Animaniacs! predecessor, Animaniacs along with Tiny Toon Adventures, but it is pushed for its use even more in The Animaniacs!, even by forcing each short in an episode to have at least one song. The Animaniacs! has a grand and wide variety of songs.

Original SkitsEdit

Some of the skits from the original show, Animaniacs, will return to the new show.

  • The Monkey Song
  • Baloney and Kids
  • The Kid in the Lid
  • Yakko's Universe
  • Be Careful What You Eat
